Terence Owen Miner
Terence Owen Miner, 83, of Raleigh, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
Terry was born on December 26, 1941 in Lynn, Massachusetts to the late Frank Miner and Irene Comeau Miner. He was the beloved husband of Nancy (Pineault) Miner with whom he recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. Terry earned degrees from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and Leslie College. He was employed by GE Aircraft Engines and American Airlines for many years. Terry was also the owner of Carolina Kettle Corn. He had his commercial pilots license and loved flying. Terry was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus, the Lions Club, and was involved in many charitable organizations. He and Nancy traveled the world.
Terry is survived by brothers Arthur (Jacqueline) Miner, John (Christine) Miner, Timothy Miner, Mark Miner and Francis Miner; sisters Catherine McManus, Patricia Warry, Carolyn Miner and Mary Miner. He is also survived by in-laws Michael (Susan) Pineault, Carol Flaherty, Dennis (Susan) Pineault, Susan Gregory, Peter Pineault, Sharon Pineault Burke, Edward Pineault Jr., David (Stephanie Metz) Pineault, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers Stephen Miner and Kevin Miner and brothers-in-law, John Pineault, Bryan Flaherty, David Gregory, Daniel Burke and Charles Warry.
A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 12:00 pm, at Saint Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, 12333 Bayleaf Church Road, Raleigh, NC 27614. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Renaissance Funeral Home, Raleigh, NC 27615.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

What can one truly say about a man who was joy personified? It's impossible to talk about Terry without smiling. To say he was the life of the party doesn't quite capture it; he radiated an infectious energy, always caring about those around him and making sure to include them in his light. He and Nancy were a gift to this world, bringing so much good into the lives of everyone they knew.
