Steven Sherman, 78, died on September 1, 2026. He was born on March 23, 1948, in Crawford County, Ohio, to Phillip Sherman and Dolores Iva Graham.

On April 17, 1971, Steven married Lyndelle “Lynn” Marion Sherman. They shared more than 52 years of marriage before Lynn’s death in February 2024. Together they built a life and raised their two children, Michelle Harvey of Garner, North Carolina, and Matthew Sherman of Raleigh, North Carolina.

Steven is survived by his children; five grandchildren, Shaun Ramsey, Paige Ramsey, Melanie Ramsey, Mikayla Harvey, and Justin Harvey; one great-grandson, Luke; and many nieces and nephews.

He enjoyed tinkering with electronics and always seemed to have a project underway. Steven had a curious mind and enjoyed figuring out how things worked, often keeping himself busy with something he could fix, build, or improve.
