  From a respected, traditional, large and loving family at 'Naik Wada' in Nagpur to an entirely different life in the USA; you were the lady in our family who led the path successfully adapting yourself to life in America. All credits to you that my 'aai' (mother) has always been treated as a daughter & got her 'Maher' (maiden family) with Naik family and my Pappa was always respectfully welcomed as their son-in-law. Everytime you were back with us in India we met the calm, friendly homely lady one amongst the 4 daughters-in-law of Kavde family wearing saree like all other Indian ladies. Although each one of you came from different families & financial backgrounds what we children could see was that our mothers were together working as a team, laughing & having fun time. When I first went to Germany, I often thought how you must have done it – the entire transition from where you came - to where you were now. Back in your days very few had walked that path.
