  I knew Luke from back in junior and senior high school. We played football and were in Boy Scouts together. One time we were camping at Hunter Falls, I think, and I slipped on wet rocks and thought I was going over the falls. Luke was the one who reached out and helped me back up. He totally downplayed it but it's a memory I still hold all these years later. We spoke a while ago and talked about my dad who was our scout leader and had made a lasting impression on Luke. You will be missed friend.

  I remember Luke form High School exactly as described in his obituary. He was a kind, fair, caring person. I am sorry for your loss. I am happy to read that he had such a rewarding life surrounded by loving people. He deserved it all. Libby Case

  We so wish we could have been there to celebration Luke's life, but I was unable to travel because of recent surgery! Met Luke & Laura after they moved into our Wrenwood in Monclova Twp., Ohio neighborhood! We were just one of the couples that were blessed with Laura's gift to cook & entertain...Then there was Luke's gentle, sweet all accepting personality with his sense humor always present when you got to know him! We cherished our friendship with Luke & Laura and spent many years after they moved from Ohio, traveling to their homes, friend's homes, family homes and vacation spots in Florida, Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Michigan...the Lord orchestrated our meeting back in 2009 and we were truly blessed by our special friendship in Luke and will truly miss him!!! Love and Prayers to Laura and all of their wonderful family!❤️🙏✝️

  Laura and family, We consider ourselves fortunate to have known Luke for almost 40 years. He was always a gentle man with a wonderful sense of humor. I can still her him singing Fewwings...the Chinese spin on the song Feelings he heard while doing security at the Olympics. So many fun memories with our kids and family time.   The night he took me to a bar on my 18th birth day....Luke tought me life lessons that I couldn't figure out by my self. ... Luke was a good man with strong family values. He could make humor out of most situations. A leader of man. Luke never backed down from a challange. He's my brother-- Luke Reed- Jeff.

  I had the honor of working with Luke from 2002-2007 at Solectron and I don't believe that you can find a better example of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to always do the right thing. He adored his family and often had to be encouraged to take time off to spend quality time in lieu of working 24X7. May you rest in the peace of the risen lord and bring peace and comfort to Laura and the family.

  Luke and I met back in the 1980s while we both worked at IBM. Luke had made his way down from Poughkeepsie New York to actually take my old position in finance at IBM as I was transitioning into a different position. Luke was one of the kindest sweetest natured people I've ever known, anybody who knew Luke valued that friendship. Our working relationship led to our families interactions, his wife Laura was the absolute perfect match for Luke, they truly complimented each other. Luke was always proud of his wife and children Michael and Teresa, they have both been successful in their careers and personal lives and Luke was most proud of them and would tell me how they were doing over the years never in a boastful way but in a proud loving way. I feel so blessed to have had Luke in my life and I'll certainly miss him but I know he's with the Lord while his friends and family will miss him this is not a permanent separation we'll see each other again one day, for now so long old friend. Love and respect to you and your family, you're fully restored in the Lord now. -David West
