  I had the pleasure of working with Deb at Dr Mike Williams office. She was always smiling and so kind to everyone. It was obvious how much she loved her family as she spoke of them daily. I am praying for all of her family during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Sweet Deb.

  Deb may you RIP. You're an amazing kind person. I will always remember our times on the soccer field at games, training and tournaments with the Bandits. We had lots of fun and laughter. We had fun times walking while our boys were being trained by your amazing husband Scott. Cory and Stephen had lots of fun and laughs. You will be missed by many people especially your family. Scott, Cory, Cass and grandchildren. I'm sure you have already set up pickle ball matches with other Angels in heaven. I did let Stephen know that you are now in @heaven.   Our love and support go out to Scott, the boys and their families and Deb's brothers and sisters. I was fortunate enough to know her all my life. We were 'cousins' not by blood but by our dad's being childhood best friends. Our families enjoyed so much time together esp those summer weeks at the beach. Deb has always been a fun beautiful mischievous spirit. She brought joy to every room and made everyone feel like you were special.   I met Deb at Seven Oaks and always enjoyed her company whether on the court or off. Girl weekends to Myrtle Beach and Boone are part of my treasured memories. She was the first friend to go with me to our mountain condo. Deb had told me that she went to Lees-McCrae College so she was the perfect person to explore the area with. Deb was fun, sweet and sincere. We bonded, too because we both had two sons. I feel very fortunate to have known her. My heart goes out to all the family because I know she leaves a tremendous void. I posted a few photos of special memories with Deb. Walking on the beach at sunrise is one of my favorites. Remember all your good times and don't let the negative weigh you down. There's so much good about Deb to remember. I will be out of town but plan to live stream her service. My thoughts will be with everyone as we navigate this sad time.

  A bright light is gone, but her memory will live forever. We met in 8th grade in Charlotte and went through high school together, experiencing more adventures and fun together than anyone should have. We stayed for a month together when we were 16 in Washington DC (we had to beg her father to let us stay on the promise of visiting the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception - we never made it). Trips to Atlanta, Greensboro and visiting my sister at Wake Forest followed. Debbie's spirit and joy of life brought fun to every adventure. A lighter soul never existed and she made our teenage angst years a delight. We reconnected after marriages and babies with the other friends in our "Faithful Five" Carolina Cougars Fan group. 40 years disappeared as we laughed even harder at our high school stories and caught up on families, careers and how lucky we were to have such beautiful friends. Debbie brings a smile to my face when I think of the fun we had, her zest for life, the strength of her faith and the love of her family. I will miss her.

  Deb was our God given gift as the perfect mother in law for our daughter Ashley. She not only welcomed her into the family but cherished her like a daughter. She was the ultimate grandmother who loved her grandsons who in turn love her immensely. Our lives have been greatly blessed by being in her presence and we will always find joy as we remember her and the way she loved her family and even us "co-grandparents". We will continue to pray for Scott, Cass and Cory as they celebrate Deb's life and mourn their and our loss.
