Darryl Marc Stocklin, 77, originally of Kansas City MO, passed away on Christmas Eve of 2025 in Raleigh NC. There will be a forthcoming celebration of life TBA.

Mr. Stocklin was born on April 11, 1948 in Kansas City MO to Granville Francis Stocklin and Carol Platt Stocklin. He served as Sargent in the Army and earned a National Defense Service Medal for being an Expert Rifle Marksman. He was honorably discharged as a Sole Surviving Son. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Missouri and earned his MBA at Temple University. Although he retired as the CFO of OTC (Occupation Training Center) in Burlington Township NJ, his primary career was spent at Union Carbide as a Financial Analyst. In fact, it was a job transfer to Cherry Hill NJ that led him meet to his wife of 52 years, Maria “Mary” Clark Stocklin. He enjoyed reading, exercising, and all sports. He played doubles tennis with Mary, coached his children’s sports teams over the years, and always attended those events when he wasn’t coaching, even if he had to come directly from work. He was as honest as the day is long, and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Gary Dennis Stocklin in 1969 (Vietnam Veteran). He is survived by his wife Mary, his daughter and son-in-law Tanya & Jack Kelly, his son and daughter-in-law Ross & Lisa Stocklin, his daughter and son-in-law Marissa & Jon Parrish; 8 grandchildren, Cory & Drew Miller, Julia, Liam & Aynsley Stocklin, Sydney, Avery & Delaney Parrish, and several great-grandchildren
