It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara “Gala” Wolfe Duncan, 80, of Raleigh, NC. She went to eternal rest on March 3, 2026. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and most of all her favorite role grandmother.

Gala lived her life for her family. She was full of unconditional love, warmth and feisty spirit. She enjoyed listening to music, reading, telling stories and spending time with her grandchildren. Our life has been better knowing Gala loving her and being loved by her. She was a strong women with a strong faith and we know she has been made perfect with Our Lord.

Born in Sisseton, SD to Elaine and Kent Wolfe. She was proceeded in death by her parents, brothers James Wolfe, Felix Wolfe, and Bobby Wolfe, and Great-grandson Mattis Moreno.

She is survived by her spouse Thomas Duncan; daughter, Robin Johnson and her husband Don Johnson; grandchildren, Kennedy Kuck, Brett Kuck, Madison Moreno, Eric Moreno, and great-grandchildren, Emery and Ollie Moreno; daughter, Tra Gibbons and her husband Kevin Gibbons, grandchildren, Logan Sigmon, Sierra Sigmon, James Gibbons, and Angie Gibbons; daughter, Shawn Brown and her husband Patrick Brown, grandchildren Nicholas Brown, Andrew Brown, Caroline Brown, Sydney Hannah, and great-grandchild baby Slade and siblings, Edna Prebish, Teresa Carson, Sharon Bladow, Maryjane Petrich, Leanne Ecklund, Lisa Forcier, Dick Wolfe, Tony Wolfe, and Tommy Wolfe.

She will be deeply missed but she will live on through her family that she built and the loving memories that we will cherish forever.
