Barbara Ann Salvia, born Barbara Ann Lutomski on January 3, 1935, in Yonkers, New York, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025, at WakeMed in Raleigh, North Carolina, surrounded by her family.

A longtime resident of Raleigh, Barbara was a devout Catholic and an active member of Saint Raphael Catholic Parish. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life and identity.

She was the beloved mother of three children: Chester Salvia Jr. and Paul Salvia, who survive her, and Lee Ann Salvia Brennan, who preceded her in death. She is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren who loved and cherished her deeply.

Known for her strength, wit and unwavering dedication to her family, Barbara was the pillar of her household across nearly three generations. Her steadfast attention and deep care bound the family together through every season of life. Barbara leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will continue to inspire, and a presence that will be profoundly missed.

A viewing and visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 from 3pm-5pm at Renaissance Funeral Home, 7615 Six Forks Road, Raleigh, NC 27615.

A Funeral Mass will take place on August 21, 2025 at 11am at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 5801 Falls of Neuse Rd. Raleigh, NC 27609.
