Obituary For Roslyn Sanatass

Roslyn Sanatass, 81 years young, has passed away to be with our Lord on Sept. 17, 2014. She joins her husband, Philip, who was the love of her life. Born August 3, 1933 in the Bronx, New York, to Anthony and Lucy Curcio. She was sister to the late, Anthony Curcio, of Brewster, NY.

She is survived by her three daughters: Lucille Alpers, and son-in-law Brian, of Hopewell Junction, NY; Andrea Crane, and son-in-law Randy Crane, of Wake Forest, NC; and Gabrielle Schmidt, and son-in-law Peter Schmidt, of Raleigh, NC. She was also blessed to have10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren who were her joy in life.

Roslyn had many interests that mostly involved her love of family, food, and friends. She was active in her church, St. Luke the Evangelist, as well as Catholic Parish Outreach. Nothing made her happier than to take care of others however she could. No words can describe the loss of our mother.

Mass will be held at St Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church in Raleigh on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014 at 12pm noon. We would like to ask that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Catholic Charities in her name.

Ros shared her fun and loving spirit with our Yoga classes for five years or more. I loved her humor and stories of life when we were "off the mat." I am so lucky to have known and appreciated her. Nameste, Ros.

Mommy, best friend, confidant, I will forever and ever hold you in my heart and my thoughts. You will live on through me, every moment, every day. I will miss you like crazy, but I know you will always be with me. Your legacy will live on....and on! I love you beyond words. Always and forever, 'the baby'
