Matthew Brendan Morris, 19 of Durham, NC passed away unexpectedly on December 27, 2017.

The Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 2:30 PM at the Renaissance Funeral Home in Raleigh, NC. Interment will be at Crown Hill Memorial Park in Clinton, NY.

Born December 4, 1998, in New York, Matthew relocated to the Raleigh/Durham area in 2006. He graduated from Leesville High School in June of 2017 and was enrolled at Wake Tech Community College for Electrical Engineering. Matt worked at Brasa as a server. He was an avid lover of Magic the Gathering, the Carolina Hurricanes, camping and making people laugh with his quick witted jokes. He was a quiet soul with a huge heart, loved by many. He will be missed beyond measure.

Matthew is survived by mother, Angela R. Keddell, and father, Michael S. Morris, his brothers Michael T. Morris, Nathaniel Morris, maternal grandparents, Peter and Deborah Keddell of Durham, paternal grandparents, Michael Lee and Deborah Morris, many Aunts and Uncles including Uncle, Peter M. Keddell, and Aunt, Rebecca L. Keddell of Durham, NC, many cousins and best friends including Lauren Taylor Wylie, Cassandra Jeanne Gray and Christopher Michael Holland.
