Obituary For Rosemary Anton

Rosemary Anton, age 101 of Wake Forest died Tuesday evening, March 28, 2017, at Duke Regional Medical Center, Raleigh, NC, and returned to her Heavenly Father.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 520 West Holding Ave, Wake Forest, NC. Interment will be in Alton, Illinois at a later date. A native of Wood River and Alton Illinois, Rosemary was the daughter of the late Tony and Julia (Babic) Repince. She attended Wood River High School. Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband Thomas C. Anton, in December, 1992. They were married in October, 1938. She was also preceded in death by her 5 brothers and sisters (Frank, Charlie, Tony, Anne Barton, and Agnes Davis).

Survivors include her three children: Thomas C. Anton (Marlene) of Wake Forest, NC; William D. Anton of Alton, IL; and Yvonne Anton Niemann (Tony) of Taylorsville, KY; 5 grandchildren: Tanya (James) Garner of Eagle Springs, NC.; Rebecca (Tim) Fultz of Wake Forest, NC; Tom (Jennifer) Anton of Arvada, CO; Don (Michelle) Kelley of Louisville, KY; and Kathleen (Byron) Boothe of Georgetown, KY; and 10 great-grandchildren: Ryan and James Garner of Eagle Springs, NC; Jackson and Carter Fultz of Wake Forest, NC; Nicholas and Christopher Anton of Arvada, CO; Kelley (Corey) Griggs of Nashville, TN; Mary Boothe of Williamsburg, VA; Walker Boothe of Nashville, TN; and Donna Kelley of Louisville, KY.

Rosemary was formerly a homemaker and giver at heart, a cook, and enjoyed gardening. She attended St.Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Wake Forest, NC.

A Memorial In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be conducted.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Tri-Area Ministries, Food Pantry, 149 E Holding Ave, Wake Forest, NC 27587.
