Obituary For Randy Dickerson

William Randall Dickerson, best known to family and friends as Randy, has fought the good fight, he has finished his course, and he has now entered God's everlasting kingdom on Friday February 2, 2018.

Born September 1st, 1953, Randy was a small-town boy from Red Bank who married his high school sweetheart for 43 years. He was a legend for his quick-wit, analytical mind, and clever sense of humor. He was a successful financial executive and a loving family man. Randy enjoyed golf, fishing, spending time on the lake, steaks on the grill, an ice-cold beer, playing music, and cheering his sons on. Randy graduated from the University of South Carolina and became a CPA. Joined Ernst & Young and served for 16 years, including 4 years as an Audit Partner. He then went on to become Chief Financial Officer of PhyAmerica Physician Group, then later served with Quintiles for over a decade, becoming World Wide Controller and Senior Vice President.

Predeceased by his parents Boyd Curtis and Margaret Hinnant Dickerson and his brothers Dr. Glenn Boyd Dickerson, Curtis Howard Dickerson and Charles Harold Dickerson, niece Lisa Blair Dickerson.

Randy is survived by wife Terri Edwards Dickerson, sister Darlene Dickerson Cox (Steve), sisters-in-law Linda Blair Dickerson, Sissy Sanders Dickerson, and brother-in-law Frank Edwards, Jr (Assunta); Three sons: Daniel Glenn Dickerson and wife Cary, Brian Edward Dickerson, Alan Michael Dickerson; and three grandchildren: Kessler, Kate, and James Dickerson; Nieces: Michelle Cox, Tracey Crede (Scott), Stephanie Peterson (Mitchell), Sarena Burch (Rad), Kim Leighton(John), Maria Gentry (Phillip), Natasha Edwards, and Emanuela Edwards

Randy was a loving and devoted husband, brother, father, grandfather, and friend.

He will be greatly missed.

    Terri and family, I am saddened to hear of Randys death. He was a dear friend to me starting in fourth grade and throughout high school and college. I was honored to have known him and offer my deepest sympathy. He will be missed. Wayne Boozer
