I am sorry to say I just found out about Massoud's passing today. I was thinking about my old coworkers from Raleigh and searched Massoud's name and found this website memorial. Saddened to hear. He was a character to work for in the short time I knew him; opinionated and passionate about his work, and willing to give advice and try and help me get a start in the industry. I am thankful to have known him and offer my condolences to the family.

The service today was wonderful. I smiled and laughed and pondered those things important to me. Massoud always turned away from my expressions of concern for his health in the last several years. His focus always seemed to be so happy, positive and tough! I sat in on several designer selections at chapel hill when he would come in and share a completely crazy idea for solving a problem on a renovation project. He always cared enough to think about it all beforehand. The biggest thing I can say about him was said so many times today.... This life was of a true gentleman. There are so few and God blessed my life with him. Chris Martin - unc chapel hill engineer
