Mary, I am so sorry for your loss. I have thought about you and Kevin over the last few years and had hoped he was doing OK. He fought a long and hard battle with grace and humor. I still have memories of him standing at the top of the driveway on Halloween dressed up like Darth Vader and scaring the crap out of everyone including me! I still remember the times his head pop up over the fence and asking "what 'cha doing" and the way he kept an eye out for mom was special. You and the boys will be in my thoughts and prayers. Take care.

I am so sorry for your loss. Although we had lost some contact over the years, the time we spent doing band things and walking around the lake talking and sharing are some of my fondest memories. Those talks often were about our families and it was so obvious how important family is and was to you and Kevin. Kevin was a man of integrity, strength, courage, loyalty, passion, compassion, love, kindness and the list goes on and on. He always had a way of making everyone feel like they were someone!!! He fought so hard to be there for you and your boys. And he really was!! He will be missed but if you were lucky enough to meet and know Kevin Neuman, if only for a short time, then you were blessed and I feel blessed. Love and Peace to you at this time. Sara Kirkendall

I am so sorry for your loss. I only knew Kevin for a short period of time, but he was very helpful. He always had so much spunk and heart. He gave so much of himself to others. I cannot thank him enough for the support he has given me and the entire band family over last few years. He will be missed!

Mary, Both of you were SO welcoming to all who entered any band event. Such a beautiful legacy you both have left at Cary High. You were an amazing team. Kevin was always full of energy and radiated happiness. Sending love your way. Bill and Jan Sharber

Dear Mary, I was so saddened to hear about Kevin's death. He fought hard for a long, long time to stay with you and the kids. Everyone in my family sends hugs and condolences to you and your whole family. Such a loss for all of you, all of his family, and all of his friends. I will call you soon. Love you! (PS: Mike says to please let you know how sorry he was to hear about this, too; he thought Kevin was one of the nicest people he ever met.)

Mary, I have known Kevin for a very short time as I started at AICPA on a temporary basis in January. A few things I learned about Kevin in the short time I have known him is that he had a way that made you feel welcome and that he had a strong bond with his family especially you. You were mentioned frequently in conversation, and it was clear that the love was strong. His kind and positive nature was appreciated every day. It is a true loss. Elaine Bagley

Mary, I am so sorry for your loss. I'll never forget how much patience Kevin showed when you all taught me the band's treasurer job! He was never too busy for to answer a question, and always had such an upbeat attitude. I loved the way he always answered "fantastic" when asked how he was doing. Kevin was a unique and special person and he will be missed. Sending love to you! Susan Harris

I will miss the "lively debates" you could always count on with Kevin... he was passionate about many things and I truly appreciated that about him. I know he loved his family dearly, that was constantly obvious in his words and actions. He was a kind and compassionate man, giving of himself for others, and the world is a little dimmer this week without him in it. Condolences to his entire family... the many fond memories of Kevin will keep him alive within you forever!

Hi Mary and family. Kevin and you will always be a part of who I am. We came a long ways together doing Cary Band Day. Know Kevin will always be watching those Gator Drives on Band Day each year. He was the best. Wonderful person to work with and always upbeat and willing to do whatever to help. Please know you are each in our prayers and hearts for peace, comfoft and strength at this time. Love, Sandi & Steve

Hi Mary, I'm one of Kevin's team members at AICPA. Kevin was always a funny man here at work, loved to joke and boy did he LOVE sweets too. Kevin never complained about how he was feeling... just the Kevin he was. He was a good man and will be cherished by everyone here who knew him. If there's anything we can do, please dont hesitate to let us know. Our condolences. Ethics Team

I saw Kevin every day at work and he was one of the strongest, most positive people I encountered. When you'd ask him how he was doing he always said, "I'm fantastic!" All of his co-workers will miss him. Dave Andrews
